Choosing to use sedation during your appointment offers profound benefits that go far beyond basic comfort.
First, it empowers anxious patients to finally get the care they need without emotional distress. You can walk into our office knowing you will experience a calm, peaceful visit.
Second, sedation is a massive benefit for those undergoing long or multiple procedures. If you have a complex treatment plan, sedation allows us to perform several treatments during a single appointment. Because you are perfectly relaxed, time seems to pass much faster, and your jaw and muscles will not feel sore from tension.
We offer a variety of sedation methods to perfectly match your specific anxiety level and treatment needs:
This mild sedative is breathed in through a small mask placed over your nose. It works quickly to induce a calm, relaxed feeling, and the effects wear off just as fast once the mask is removed.
A gentle form of sedation that allows patients to rest comfortably while receiving dental care.
A mild calming effect that safely and effectively manages anxiety during treatment.
Fear of the dentist often stems from a past negative experience, a fear of pain, or simply feeling a loss of control. We want to change that narrative completely. We listen to your concerns, explain every step of your treatment, and move entirely at your pace. By offering tailored sedation options, we remove the stress and anxiety from your visit. You are in the driver's seat; sedation is simply a tool that empowers you to receive care while feeling completely relaxed and at ease.
The process begins with a simple, pressure-free consultation. We will review your medical history, discuss your anxiety triggers, and outline your dental goals. Together, we will select the sedation option that best fits your needs. On the day of your procedure, our compassionate team will welcome you and ensure you are completely comfortable before we begin. We closely monitor your vital signs throughout the entire treatment to ensure your absolute safety. Once the procedure is complete, we will give you ample time to rest and recover before you leave our office.

With Nitrous Oxide/Laughing Gas and Oral Conscious Sedation, you remain awake but deeply relaxed. With IV sedation, you may feel like you are asleep and will likely remember very little of the visit, but you are still technically conscious and can respond to simple cues.
If you choose Nitrous Oxide/Laughing Gas, the effects wear off immediately, and you can drive yourself home. If you opt for Oral Conscious Sedation or IV sedation, you will feel groggy afterward and must arrange for a trusted friend or family member to drive you home.
Yes. Sedation dentistry is incredibly safe when administered by trained professionals. We thoroughly review your medical history beforehand and continuously monitor your heart rate, oxygen levels, and blood pressure throughout the entire procedure.
